Personal Storage and Housing
Not sure if these topics have been brought up or not but it would be nice to have your own house and storage that can be shared between multiple accounts.
If you have ever played asherons call you know what i mean, if not listen in...
Owning a house: different sizes such as apartments/house/villas. Each type of house has different amount of storage (the more you pay the more storage you have). On top of storage chests there would be hooks around the house where you can add things such as: fireplaces, carpet, paintings, weapons, etc.
Storage: it would be nice to give permissions to another account so you could have a friend grab items or cash from storage. The owner account would be able to see who is currently on the premissions list and be able to add/remove accounts.
What are your thoughts?

GW1 does not have the Anet staff to code this, and it would open up large opportunities for abuse. Maybe GW2, but not a chance this would happen for GW1.

OH NO GW IS BECOMING LIKE RUNESCAPE. ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!!!
I kinda don't want becuase houses is like runescape. BUT part of me still wants a house just for to relax in and it is something different. It would be nice to design it and put weapons and armor in there.

Kinda is trying to make GW into every other game then. Might eliminate the idea and meeting ground of the GH.

Actually, what you're suggesting sounds exactly like what would happen if the concepts for Guild Halls and the HoM were combined. That ain't happening in this GW.
As for the personal storage thing, that would probably be okay if there was a log that kept track of transactions going back for an amount of time and a limit on how many items and how much gold could be moved in and out of the account by secondary persons in such a time period.

A house would be cool. (for gw2) It's totally reliant on how the grouping/outpost system works. If it's a free world like wow, with no loading... Then it'd be hard to make space for millions of houses. If there was like a house outpost that'd be cool. everyones house in your party appears when you zone there. That would be extremely complex but it would open up new venues... Like fable? Own property and rent it out? I'd love it if the game had more economic diversity, for us slightly older people it would be kinda funny. Buy a house, have a mortgage. Maybe have a 2 horse garage?
I like the house idea. No question it would be neat to store and display weapons/armor/items. (Oblivion? )

This is what i am thinking of...still keep the idea of a GH but still each person can have their own space as well to do what ever they want with.

That was one of my favorite parts about Oblivion I loved my house down in Skingrad (<--- Spelling? Been a long time since I played it). I had swords and books arranged neatly on shelves, alchemy gear on a table, each one of the various chests was used to store specific types of gear and other loot (no limit to ammount of stuff that could be put into a single chest was wonderful - not realistic, but wonderful).
I would enjoy having a house for my toon, and being able to customize its furiture arrangement and use it as an expansion to storage.
Buying a house and upgrades for it would add another money sink to the game, too.

What? I have a house in GW... doesn't everyone?
Edit: Well... It's actually more of a tent. You may have seen it if you've ever visited the Underworld. You're welcome to stop by any time, but beware I have a security force and a couple very large pets watching things when I'm not there. Just speak to my security chief Menzes and he'll check to see if your name is in the reservation book.

I loved all my houses in Oblivion... they were awesome to do nothing in... except maybe break stuff.

It's not for this game, GW2, or me.

Both these ideas have been mentioned quite a bit before. Please search the forum in the future to avoid posting ideas that have already been posted.
No worries though. I'm in a good mood.
